BBM Hits 100 Million Downloads On Play Store

Earlier today while I was trying to upgrade BBM on an android phone what caugth my eyes was the '100 million downloads' which makes BBM ontop other messaging apps.

Accrording to blog.blackberry.com, BBM for Android has officially achieved a milestone on the Google Play Store: 100 million installs. That puts BBM in the top tier of messaging apps on Google Play, and we got there in a little over a year as we first posted BBM for Android in late October 2013. We have 3.7 million reviews, and just shy of 2.4 million of them are five stars.

Get Custom BBM Pin And Remove Ads For $0.99

BlackBerry has released an update for all BBM messaging app. The new version includes paid subscription options to get rid of ads and more.
For 99 cents a month, BBM users won't see any ads in their feed, and also won't get any sponsored invites from third parties. For $1.99 a month, users can also create a custom PIN. Here's how that will work:
With a Custom PIN subscription you can make a PIN that's easy for you and your friends to remember and/or says something special about you. Custom PINs have to follow certain guidelines. They must be 6-8 characters long, and can include numbers and letters only. Special characters cannot be used and PINs are not case sensitive.

BlackBerry OS 10.3.1.1016 Autoloaders Now Out For All BlackBerry 10 Devices

As much as I thought and and all thanks to Crackberry, Blackberry hasnt officially released the original OS of 10.3.1.1016 or the ones online went off...

But doing my research, I found the autoloader on Crackberry's forum and why it can't really be called a leak by the standard definition means we have to treat it like one and advise you that should you decide to download any of the autoloaders and run them, you do so at your own risk.

Its also adviceable you read the findings and fixes thread before you jump in and decide if you want to load this. Then goodluck to you!

Personally I'm currently downloading from this one for my SRN Q10 See more below...

See The Blackberry Passport On Red Colour

Blackberry Passport was released early last month which features OS 10.3, 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB of RAM with 32GB for storage (there's a microSD card slot if you want more). The 4.5-inch screen is 1,440 x 1,440, which makes for an impressive (and ultra-sharp) 453 pixels per inch (ppi) and mostly in Black colours.

CrackBerry has revealed that the Red and White was schedule to be released by December 25 on Amazon, the image above shows the red colours outlook.

Seems this Red Blackberry Passport is more suitable than black or what do you think? See the White and Red below.

Can BlackBerry Passport Bend? Here’s What Happens (Video)

You may have heard about the now infamous “Bendgate.” Apple iPhone 6 and Plus suffer from a somewhat pliable aluminum casing, which allows them to be bent.
Apple has already begun replacing bent devices for users. Nonetheless, this flop will go down in history like Apple’s previous “Antennagate.”
During the BlackBerry Passport launch, BlackBerry’s CEO John Chen mocked Apple and challenged users to try and bend the Passport. BloombergTV caught up with the YouTube star who made the Bendgate go viral and a news anchor attempted to bend the Passport. See video below

10 Things You Need To Know About The BIG BlackBerry Passport Device

For those who began typing on phones when BlackBerry and Palm ruled mobile, the move to pure touchscreen design has been a mixed blessing. They're responsive and natural, but nothing lets you crank out an email at top speed like those trusty QWERTY keys.
BlackBerry, which never fully went away, now has something new for that crowd: the BlackBerry Passport, a huge phone with a big screen and the most sophisticated keyboard you've ever seen on a mobile device.
The Passport isn't just big at 3.6 inches wide — it's weirdly big, with a square display perched atop a few strips of keys. There really isn't any other smartphone like it. BlackBerry says it picked this size for two reasons: One, the display can display 60 characters per line, which is supposedly very good for reading. And two, it's actually the exact same size as a real passport.

Location based reminders on your BlackBerry 10 device thanks to Reminder Now

Fresh into BlackBerry World today is the latest offering from Emberify and this one's called Reminder Now.
Reminder Now is hot off the press so I've not yet had the chance to test it out, although I will in due course. I would imagine that it isn't an app that everyone will want to use, but taking a guess I think it may be one of those ones that once you use it - you can't be without.
As many of us use our BlackBerry 10 devices to manage our busy lives, Reminder Now could be the ultimate way to ensure you don't forget certain tasks. If you give it a go let us know in the comments how you find it?
